JD Vance Has No Political Future
We are all Charlie Kirk on this Blessed Day
On September 10, 2025 the infamous political commentator and conservative firebrand Charlie Kirk had an unfortunate accident where his neck went ka-plooie. This tragic event, rendered so more traumatizing by live video shots of the death immediately before and after, broke everyone’s brains. To the far right: this was the Day of the Rope, the fascist eschatological event whereby Trump would finally seize power, purge America of the Left (and Democrats, and Jews, and everyone in between) and install a thousand-year Burgerreich. To the far left: this was mostly funny, with memes of Kirk’s death blooming in the immediate aftermath.
Neither were exactly right. Kirk’s death did not lead to the fascist Apotheosis, nor was it particularly funny. As someone who is presently alive, the idea of suddenly dying by a high-velocity bullet mid-sentence is scary, raising questions of mortal dread and that classic postdiluvian Gilgameshian desire to avoid such a terminus. Humor could not be found in such a sudden crackle, save amongst the very crude amongst us online. As for the fascism: yes, the right got many people fired and disciplined for not mourning Kirk, but Trump himself did not care particularly one way or another. If it doesn’t lead him to a Nobel Peace Prize or isn’t a real estate or crypto deal for his family: the President simply does not care. Thus, no Reichstag Fire Decree, and Horst Wessel-Lied lies a-mouldering in his grave.
There is of course a real world impact to Kirk’s death. As charismatic head of a multi-million dollar organization, Kirk likely would’ve risen beyond the heights of Roger Ailes and Rush Limbaugh combined, had he lived. Indeed, had he lived, we would have had decades of Kirk’s continuing dominance in the right wing ecosystem, with every GOP Presidential hopeful begging his favor, kissing his ring.
To be clear, it’s not that he was a gifted debater or possessed a unique intellect. He was dull and his arguments trite, barely capable of waging victorious struggles using pablum against over-pampered college students. His unique merit came in uniting the disparate right wing, and being able to be a unifying voice for the coalition. That had been fraying in the rise of Fuentes and his overt fascism, but Fuentes’ disgusting racism will never have any no mass electoral appeal in America; the opposite could always be said of Kirk. Without his presence, the GOP will be all the weaker, all the less united for it, until a suitable replacement can be found. It’s unlikely one ever will, considering how singular Kirk was (given his age, his fundraising abilities, his determination, and more).
Erika Kirk, Charlie’s dutiful widow, has attempted to take up the mantle of Turning Point USA, the organization the former Kirk had led. This has led to a comedy of self-forced errors, wrecking not just her own image to the public, but dragging down TPUSA and the rest of the Republican Party along with her.
Of course, much of this has to do with Candace Owens spreading malicious lies about the Kirks (and the French and many others). But Owens is just a peg in the modern information ecosystem. I’d like to turn now to Facebook, still used by many elderly Americans, as a source for their daily news. I think the images more or less speak for themselves. To be clear: if you have used Facebook at all the past couple months, these are the headlines you have been exposed to. And recall further that older Americans tend to be Republican primary voters, and keep that in mind as you note the presence of a certain Vice Presidential candidate.
We should first start with The Hug, an actual event where Vice President JD Vance hugged the widow Kirk in public.
This actually happened, and is the only true event besides Kirk’s death. At a TPUSA event, following Kirk’s death, Erika (wearing tight leather pants as is her want) tightly embraced the Vice President. In her retelling, she calls herself a natural hugger, something that is likely to be true, considering how women do be like that (speaking as one myself). As for Vance, comforting a grieving widow (despite her less-than-widowly outfit) is quite a natural human thing to do, even if doing it in front of a political rally on a stage might not seem like the best time to do so.
Regardless, from that single hug, a million untruths spawned. This is not the first time I have reported on Kirk’s death or the use of AI to spread rumors and misinformation. The last time I covered this, people were using AI to (falsely and erroneously) attempt to locate Kirk’s murderer:
It should be noted that AI facial recognition or similar advanced tech did not fight Kirk’s killer: it was just good old fashioned police work, combined with the alleged shooter turning himself in.
Let us now turn to Facebook, and see what the latest headlines have in store. These are all snapshots from real accounts taken from the day this article was written and published. From this, we can piece together several conspiracy theories that are floating out there. The picture these conspiracies paint is clear: Erika Kirk is less a common widow of a murdered man and more the Biblical Whore of Babylon, who murdered Charlie so that she could be with JD Vance, a corrupted soul bewitched by the guiles of the Whore.
Thus, if you have been using Facebook at all in the past couple of months, here are some stories you might have seen, and believed:
Charlie wasn’t the father of the kids
JD Vance is actively and publicly cheating on his wife Usha by shacking up with Erika Kirk

Erika Kirk murdered Charlie Kirk (to get with JD Vance) and is under arrest
One of Charlie’s bodyguards worked with Tyler Robinson (the alleged sniper) to kill Charlie
While these snapshots were taken today, they are just scratching the surface. On my own Twitter account, I have spent several weeks documenting the insane conspiracy theories that have cropped up. Here are several snapshots I had saved.
JD Vance realizes he is dating the Whore of Babylon on Instagram Live
Erika Kirk tries to murder Candace
JK he’s still alive
JK JK he’s still dead but his ghost showed up in the courtroom and pronounced Tyler Robinson’s innocence
And on and on it goes. Day after day, week after week, of AI slop-filled ludicrous headlines. To be clear, it’s doubtful most people know or even see these headlines. What we do know is that ‘bad vibes’ are permeating TPUSA’s efforts to reconstitute itself after Kirk’s death. Much of that has to do with how Erika mishandled the tragedy, but these AI headlines will continue to haunt and devastate TPUSA’s image to the world.
In other words, it’s not that Republican voters will remember any of these headlines or stories come 2028, but they will remember emotions of skeeviness and untowardness, informed by these headlines, even if only glanced at momentarily. When the time comes to lift JD Vance up to the Presidency, these otherwise MAGA Trump loyalist voters will mostly say “no thanks”, even if they don’t quite remember what they don’t like about JD. To say nothing of Erika’s political future: she is rather doomed; hated by the Left and Right, the only remaining pivot she could have is apolitical religiosity, not that she needs one. As a millionaire, her family is set for generations. But an arbiter of the GOP’s future she is not.
It doesn’t have to be like this. We don’t have to be slaves to AI slopification. After Trump’s 2016 election and the concurrent Rohingya genocide, many social media sites ramped up content moderation, in an attempt to shield themselves from political and legal liability. After Biden’s terminal old age became apparent during 2022, these media operations smelled the decay on the wind and shifted 360 degrees to the opposite angle, letting bloom a thousand flowers of fake, slop news, in an attempt to ingratiate themselves with the former banned news, including assumed-doomed former President Trump. Once Trump became President again, all remaining guardrails were removed.
Having lived through both epochs, of high moderation and no moderation, I think we can all conclude both were bad, but that no moderation is far worse. We cannot and should not allow defamatory, false beliefs to permeate. That is how murderous cults arise, how terrorism starts, how mass bloodshed becomes trite.
Today they come for Charlie Kirk and his widow. Tomorrow they will come for me, and then the next day, for you. None of us are safe until all of us are made safe; we can only hope Congress and the President will act with determination to save us from the AI slopocalypse, before it is too late.
As for JD Vance, it’s hard to imagine a political future for someone accused of cheating on his wife to be the loverboy of a widow who casually murdered her husband. That isn’t the truth, of course, but if you’re on Facebook: yes it is, and so, imagining any future that doesn’t result in him behind bars might be a bridge too far for many conservatives. In the meantime, I will continue to share bizarre Facebook headlines on my Twitter, so be sure to follow me there and of course, never forget:
